Vegan Strip Club Puts Meat on the Pole, Not On the Plate
Portland, Oregon now lays claim to the world’s first vegan strip club. Casa Diablo Gentleman’s Club is both vegan and the only smoke-free strip club in the city.
Patrons won’t find any meat, eggs or dairy on the menu, but there is plenty of pussy on the stage. Flesh-eating dancers are welcome to work at Club Diablo, but must adhere to a vegan dress code free of leather, fur, silk or wool.
The club reflects the lifestyle of its owner, Johnny Diablo, who has been an ethical vegan for 23 ears.
“(It’s) vixens, not veal, and sizzle, not steak,” Diablo said. “We put the meat on the pole, not on the plate.”
